It's done!

I spent this morning on my knees, stripping Alfred's coat.  I've done pretty well considering - if you could see what we go through to get it done!  But he was a good(ish) boy and I'm pleased.  I just have to wait for Mr K to get back so he can flip him over while I do his lower tummy.  That won't be stripped, but trimmed with scissors.  Alfred hates having this area stripped as it hurts him, so why put him through it?  The rest of him, including the head and chest, is all stripped, and that's the important bit as far as keeping the coat water resistant goes.  So he's ready for our holiday now! And as a well groomed pooch, he can again hold his head up high when walking in the neighbourhood...  :-)
