Just couldn't wait...

Alfred was out sunbathing this afternoon.  There was a sudden rainstorm and I called him in.  The second it was over he went back out and despite his chair being wet and having a big puddle of water on it (just where his back end is sitting), he retook his position and stayed there.  I had to lift him up and dry him off and soak up the puddle so he could sit in comfort and not get a chilled back end.  But I'd upset him by moving him and because he knew I now wanted him to sit there and enjoy the sunshine, he reproachingly slinked upstairs to pointedly lie in the shade...  Borders do like to make their feelings known. :-)
