Wet Start

When we got to out holiday cottage in Ulldale there was lighting and a thunder storm. The road outside the cottage turned into a river and we thought we were nice and dry inside. But I saw some water on the kitchen floor and thought it was the sink leaking but then I saw that the foot mat was slightly floating and it all coming from under the back door. I shouted Dad and he opened the back door and a big gush of water came through the door and down the stairs into the living room. It was the drain blocked up with moss and leaves. When he cleared it thought it was all better and the cleaning process had to begin.

It didn't take very long as most of the water had gone through the floor boards. But this is Dad (Runhills) drying the floor up with the towel.
