my body, my mind
such an awesome day
started the day riding the merry-go-round with my siblings, then i got a glitter tattoo (i know, mature eh?) in the shape of a union jack, glittery colours and all!
then we headed off to the first act we wanted to see - James Mackenzie, who i managed to get a smile out of, and even a high five too! pretty cool guy :)
after that we went to see Fatherson (pictured with me here) who i managed to meet later on and grab a photo with!!! they were really nice, and their music was absolutely fab too!
we grabbed some lunch - sausages in wraps, then went to see one of my favourite bands ever, listened to them for months before this too - Bwani Junction, and they were fantastic live, managed to be right at the front again, and so got a free merchandise postcard with the concert date we'd seen just then on it, pretty cool eh? it's on my wall now
after, a quick listen to some tiny bands at the potting shed stage, then we ran to catch the end of Nina Nesbitt's act, who was amazing, but strangely announced to some serenading boys that she was, in fact, a lesbian - they were very dismayed..
then on to the Seedliongs stage to see another of my all time favourite bands - French Wives. the lead guitarist - whom i managed to catch his eye many many times throughout the act - was as funny as he is in the music video: Numbers. you'll understand when you watch it!!
next we trudged onwards to see Foy Vance - he was very very good, one of my favourites, just such an interesting voice!
after a quick listen in to some of the people playing in the 'hippie tent' as i call it, we rushed to the Garden Main Stage to see the Wombats YAY
they were absolutely fab, incredible even, so i decided to wear my new bear/koala silly hat i bought at the market - probably a waste of money but it looks hilarious, so i love it dearly :')
the Wombats ended our night, so off to be we went
