Two Bridges

I've crossed this bridge at least twice a week every week for the last ten years, but I'd never been on the old one that stands just upstream.

I decided to go and investigate today. It proved hard to get a picture of the old bridge, it is nearly submerged in a sea of weeds.(See extra).

 But walking across it, I realised that the 'new' one is not new, and really rather elegant. Something else I've learned thanks to Blip.
