Cartoon Prophecy

This desk calendar elicits a chuckle most days, but this morning It felt very real.
Mr. Drumpf was in town last night after a fleeting visit to Mexico. No idea what he expected there. Then, in Phx. he insisted ,again, he'll build a huge wall on the border and make Mexico pay for it.
Worse still; his new idea is an "ideological certification" for immigrants. How long before it would seem reasonable to apply that to those of us already here. More McCarthy-ism.
So yes, I feel very much like we're in danger of ignoring sense, and jumping into the volcano.
