Pure pipes!

Strolling through George Sq this lunchtime en route to the office I was greeted by the sound of massed pipes.

The International Piping Festival aka 'Piping Live' is taking place in Glasgow this week and for once early August is treating us to some glorious sunshine.

Pipers and drummers from the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo were 'presenting' at 12 noon and sounding really rather good to be honest.
