Getting ready for the night
A late walk alongside the river brought an unexpected encounter with a homeless man who had piled up his belongings next to the path we had to walk to go to the river. Maggie and I both were mildly startled and Maggie gave a modest bark, which is very rare. That , of course, caused the guy , to be afraid of Maggie and it took some moments to calm everyone down again. The green in this area where I love to walk is this year particularly high grown and it is just inviting for homeless people to look for a place for the night right there.
Then, 20 minutes later, the sky changed color all of a sudden, the birds landed on their sleeping tree (it is the middle one in the picture, without any leaves but at least 50 birds in it) and the last row of geese took off in search for their special place for the night.
Thank you all for your so kind comments, stars and hearts for my little fruit basket. It pleased me of course quite a bit to find it in the end on page 3 of the populars.
