Red Onion

Just before cutting it in little pieces for a salad, (I had already set the cut around the roots), I was struck by the beauty of the structure and had to take a quick picture. I upped the saturation a bit, just for fun.

The town is bustling. Probably because of the warm weather of the last days and the days to come, all camping grounds are full and a stream of cars is slowly driving north and south in search of a 'manger'. This long week-end ( September 4th is a holiday here) promises fun and relaxation to many, so some even set up their tents and camping furniture in the middle of Siltcoos forest (allowed??) just to be out in nature.

An other first for me. Have never noticed that this weekend was that busy.
