Tiny Tuesday .....

.... Male Hummingbird. 

I got extremely lucky today ....

When I went outside this morning (with camera in hand ... on a tripod actually) to get my Tiny Tuesday blip (it was going to be a chippy!), this beautiful male hummingbird zoomed down right in front of me to feed at our nectar feeder.  I quickly (and you have to be quick!) got off four good shots!  This is the first and only male hummer that we have seen in our yard this year .... they are rare visitors for us.  I was so thrilled to see him and even more thrilled to get some decent shots of him.  (Sorry, DDW!)

It was so hard to choose which one to blip so I have added an extra that was a close second.
