Old Allangrange

We spent a lovely morning exploring the garden at Old Allangrange. We went there last May so it was interesting to see what flowers were out this time of year. All the planting is there to encourage wildlife especially bees and there were certainly plenty around today. Luckily the sun was shining so it brought out all the insects small and large. I could nt believe how many house martins there were as well. The roof as covered in them and now and again they would all take off. There were a few swallows too and robins,wrens,chaffinch and three Great Spotted woodpeckers.
We sat in the sun and drank organic tea and ate organic cakes :)
