Highland RDA open Day

It was the Highland RDA open day at Broomhill, the stables at the top of the Hill. Julie picked me up at 10.30 with her youngest and we enjoyed a few hours of horsey Fun.
First we watched some young riders in a jump off and then the Shetland Grand National which included all the little Shetlands that stay in the field next to our house. The little ginger one , Orris, was the only one without a human rider having a polar bear teddy instead. The race was so fast and it was hard to take photos and Orris got a bit excited and became a bit of a handful for his leader, They were all back resting and eating in the field this afternoon. We watched four young ladies in a gymkhana
Next we watched the Riders of the Storm with a Scottish theme. Amazing horses and riders as seen in the blip photo :)
Spent the afternoon in the garden a beautiful, sunny and warm day.
