Dominic Cooper

We went to see Dominic Cooper in The Libertine at Bath Theatre Royal this afternoon.

We chose to go by bus because Bath is a nightmare during any holiday season.  We arrived in time to have a drink so I had a Pinot and soda which had a soporific effect causing me to drop off during the first half! (not the first time that's happened!)

It is carnival night in town which meant the town centre is closed. Whilst still in Bath bus station, I quizzed the driver about where he planned to stop. Yes, he had heard a rumour that the town centre was closed but he doesn't know Devizes (like his Mrs) so didn't know where he was going to stop. As it happened, he stopped at the top of the Bath road where the Swindon bus was in a similar quandry.

We walked on into town. It soon became dark, chilly and very wet. We watched the procession which was over in a flash, bought fish and chips and went home.
