Chrysalis Theatre
Just a diary blip today. This is the Chrysalis Theatre in Milton Keynes before curtain up this afternoon. This is the first time I've been to this small theatre of only 200 seats. It's a multi function venue and has hosted theatre, concerts, dance, cinema, lectures and even the BBC Radio 4 show Any Questions. A key aim is for an approach to theatre that is for, about and stars adults with learning difficulties.
Today's production was Old Actors Never Die, They Simply Lose the Plot by the Third Age Players (U3A), which I went to with friends D and M. I have to say that farce is not my favourite type of production, but it was interesting to see an amateur production in this lovely little theatre.
