About six weeks ago I saw this brood of thirteen baby grey partridges with their mum. Today I drove past the same field and saw this group of grey partridges. If it's the same family, I hope there were more survivors lurking in the stubble.

Extra is the house martin nest on my neighbour's house - it looks like they've had a second brood!
