Tiny plant, huge blooms

This little fuchsia has hardly grown at all since it was given to me, partly because I punched out the tips of the shoots. Now, at last, it has produced these lovely flowers, looking all the better for raindrops from a very welcome overnight shower.
The mystery of yesterday's blip was solved by son Jeremy who remembers a bathroom light fitting that had six lights with these glass reflectors. It didn't last long, maybe that is why we had forgotten all about it!
