After The Rain

The highlight of the day has to be recorded as another amazing stage in the Vuelta. It was all scarcely credible. The entire Sky team apart from Chris Froome finished outside the time limit, which, by strict application of the rules, should have meant their elimination from the race. It was amazing to see teams working together to isolate just one rider. It was almost as vicious a play as you find in croquet! Awesome to witness. 

My outing on the moor coincided with a prolonged shower, topped and tailed by bright sunshine. Felt a bit of energy returning, enough to attempt running up a few hills, and even down again, all without falling over.
