Standing Room Only

It was pleasantly warm and close today. Almost perfect really. Seats were at a premium. How I wish this was the norm rather than the exception in this country, especially for September. I love the outdoor culture this kind of weather engenders. The evening was positively balmy, quite remarkably so, and it was lovely to bump into some old friends sitting outside the Crescent in Ilkley, having a pint. It was great to share some stories and a few laughs. Thanks P & G.

My day was almost certainly the fullest I've had since my accident. I was completely frazzled by the time I eventually got home, but I coped.
