Heron at Bells Mills Weir

A lovely sunny lunchtime walk today. Warm as well. It would be nice to carry on walking instead of returning to the office. This Heron has the right idea. It must be a good place to feed as it is often at this point. In the sunshine and at work.

However, the year is turning. There are less flowers, berries are ripening and seed are becoming predominant. Enjoy the weather while it lasts.
