Flat.......

I love wood grain, Mrs Booty isn't a great fan, preferring tablecloths, slate place mats etc etc. One of her favourite little tricks is to cover any flat surface, be it work top or table with newspapers, periodicals, catalogues from obscure ladies outfitters and even the monthly copy of Screwfix. 

I do not despair, I may make disparaging comments but never give in.
