Plume poppy seeds
A busy day organising and purchasing equipment for a long day of fieldwork tomorrow, which left little time for photography. This is a contre-jour shot of the seeds of our plume poppy.
This evening we had the first meeting of our local Wildlife Trust group, which was an illustrated talk on Flag Fen. Our current Chair of the Committee resigned at the AGM and I've agreed to take over for a year, while we hopefully recruit someone who may have more spare time to spend on the job. Fortunately it finished fairly early, and once home I went straight to bed - it'll be an early start tomorrow!
