Mexican Band.

Today was Redruths International mining &pasty festival.in the early 19th century when Cornwall's tin mining industry fell into decline ,forcing thousands of miners abroad to search for work.hundreds of men chose to cross the ocean to Mexico to mine silver.the extra pic is a rather large pasty being made in the town with lots of helping hands then taken to the bake house.there were lots of pasty stalls on both side of the street plus stalls selling lots of Cornish goodies.the weather was warm and sunny and we enjoyed listening to the Mexican Band very much.
