We popped to Helston this morning has I needed unsalted butter for my Christmas cake.I wanted a walk around the boating lake,but it had started to drizzle and H did not have a coat in the car.so when we were in Lidls he noticed they had waterproof,windproof jackets.he choose the green has you can see him wearing,not bad for £16.99. The cake is in now in the oven .I have used Delia Smith recipe again this year which I like.note the lake has overflowed onto the path in one place ,so we had to walk on the grass.
