1st Wedding Anniversary

One year ago today Steve and I got married!  To celebrate Steve had bought me a gorgeous necklace and earrings and we had also booked a lovely meal for the Monday evening (but we will get to that later).

In the morning time, it was a bit Mheh weather wise so we wandered around La Gallery Lafayette and sneaked in a  bit of shopping then around lunchtime the clouds cleared somewhat so we took a lovely walk down the Champs Elysee before snapping a little view of L'Arc De Triomphe at the end (see extra).

And of course, we could not have come to Paris without Going Up the Eiffel Tower.  It was amazing to be up there and weirdly it felt quite scary as the structure is reasonably open to the elements.  It was so busy though - even after all this time of existence the structure is still so busy and such an iconic Parisian place to come to.

We had to then nip back to the hotel and freshen up as we were booked into 114 Faubourg which is at the Bristol hotel.  We had some delicious cocktails before heading for dinner where the meal was exquisite - loved every mouthful!

All in all a wonderful final evening in Paris and a beautiful day to celebrate our first year of marriage.  I actually cannot believe how quickly this past year has flown in - where has that time gone!?
