Musee D'orsay
*backblip*
On Sunday morning we decided to give the louvre a miss as the place is phenomenally big and so we figured we would head to Musee d'orsey instead (please excuse my written french - it is almost as poor as my verbal skills in this area).
This was a beautiful building which used to be a train station and there were all sorts of beautiful sculptures and art work. We saw quite a few pieces by Van Gogh there which we didn't expect to see and we must have spent a good few hours wandering around.
Afterwards we went to the Rodin Museum where we also enjoyed a lovely walk around his sculpture garden and the Thinker (see extra photo). The original of the kiss was also in there (again-see extra).
We did a lot of walking in this lovely city. In the evening time we took a cab up to the Sacre Coeur and enjoyed some stunning views of the city before heading for a meal and then to Moulin Rouge where we enjoyed some Champagne and some great entertainment! Awesome evening!
