That Wasn't The Plan

I was going to set to with the shredder this morning but SWMBO needed to go and get new lipstick - which meant I had to drive!
So it was off to Glasgow .......... long story - don't ask!

I always find the architecture a bit more interesting in Glasgow - even when the old and the new are side by side.
I wonder how long it will be until they pull this down.
The Trongate always looks like it has an old turret on a new steeple.

While SWMBO was paying for some chocolates, I grabbed a couple of shots of the lighting in St Enoch's Centre --- the place where I felt really quite slim and realised I could never get lost in the crowd (far too tall).

We stopped off for a chat and a coffee with one of the usual suspects' She was very unwell a few days ago and will have to go in for an operation to remove her gall bladder - which has meant that she has had to cancel her trip with friends to Skye and Harris. I can see her becoming very depressed for a while.

When we got home one of the measly 3 gladioli stems was lying on the ground - so I cut the other two and stuck them in a vase and took some slightly abstract shots of the stamen.

I struggled to drag out the unwanted plant life from the pond .... well, most of it.
I don't think there is much point in trying to spate and clean up any of the plants - it will be easier to just replant in the spring.
