Gladiolus

My mother bought some postal order bulbs earlier this year and I bought a few off her. Most failed to thrive but this gladdy was very successful.

Taken just after I dropped our daughter off at the station as she started her trip to Italy for a few days.

Then Sunday school - where I met a panel member - and then hours in the garden digging, shifting soil, lifting slabs and dismantling, after 20+ years the garden swing. the gladiolus is more photogenic!
