Bloomin' Barrel

I just can't get enough of these beautiful barrel cactus flowers. They might be my favorite cactus flower of the year because of their uniqueness.

We broke a high temperature today (109F/43C) that was set in 1885. I spent the afternoon brushing off my passport and walking across our southern border to the pharmacia (where you don't need prescriptions for most meds) and dentist with my mom. I was literally "hot under the collar."

Tomorrow, an appointment for me and the house finally gets cleaned. Can't wait. I'll have to clean before the cleaning lady gets here.
