The Page Corner
This morning I went through Kingsland, and was too early for this cafe, called The Page Corner * Kingsland.
Located on the ground floor of the Pages Store building built in 1885, and now heritage listed and protected. It was, and is, handy to the railway line. The Kingsland Station is right behind the building. This is the station for Eden Park. Later, a major tram stop was also outside the store, in New North Road, about where I stood to take this picture.
The Pages stores provided goods, grain and fodder for the local farmers, to the extent that up the hill, out of the picture to the right, the Grain Store Buildings were built between 1900 and 1914. They are also heritage listed.
This is another in the cafe series
