Highland Train Travel

Traveling northwest via train to Fort William to meet up with our friends who are traveling their by vehicle. A delightful way to traverse large swaths of countryside at a relaxed pace. Very comfortable compared to air travel and plenty of room to move about and meet people from all over the world. Our seatmates were from Trinidad/Tobago, a couple of rows up there was a woman returning from a town thirty miles from where we lived in the United States, and across the aisle was a local who rode the train every week. I wanted a classic train shot. Even though the conductor invited me to shoot out the lowerable window as we flew up the tracks, I preferred this shot down the cars while stopped at one of the dozen stations along the route.
