Mouse House

I first saw little lamps such as this one when I was probably 10 or eleven years old. They are like a tiny pottery house with occupants such as mice or squirrels. I loved them but my Mum thought I was too old for a nursery light.
When our son was born, my Mum remembered that I liked the lamps, and bought one for him. It was always used at the side of his bed, and I was secretly jealous.
Roll on a good few years, and it is now the lamp that we use in the bedroom that our grandsons share when they come to stay - sadly it gets used only every two years. Still, it IS being used, and I still love it, and they love it too.
I think it needs a dust now I've looked at it close up!
