Pisso Beach - Agia Efimia
After breakfast it was slightly overcast so we thought we'd go for a ride and then find a beach. We got to a junction to find the road to Poros was closed so headed to Sami where we enjoyed an hour on the harbourside, having refreshements, and watching the world go by. The extra shows a fisherman sorting out his nets.
Not far away is Agia Efimia, a stunning and large inlet cove which at it innermost point has a harbour where top notch yachts moor up to enjoy the delights of this attractive village. By this time it was really hot and we decided to go for a swim at Pisso Lithovathis Beach, just up from the harbour. There's no sand and room for only about a dozen people, but the water looked so inviting we couldn't resist a swim. I forgot my trunks so rather than skinny dip I kept my underwear on! The main blip picture shows the view from this beach before you go down the steps.
In the evening we met up with our friend, Allyn, whom we used to work with many years ago and for the past 10 years has been living on the Island near where we are staying. It was a lovely farewell meal.
