Harlequin river

Walking by the river this afternoon this is what I found!!

The colours in the water are the actual colours as Nellie and I saw them.....no doctoring of the photo.

It's not a bit that we normally go and spend time at but after a bit of a scramble down we ended up staying for a while. The colours were a mixture of water colour and sun reflections. The blip doesn't really do it justice it was amazing to see.

Sunny at last and it's meant to stay until Friday when we leave. They're cutting for silage here again for at least a second, if not third cut so that bodes well for the weather too!!
