A twinkle in the eye!

It was so wonderful to see a twinkle in the eye and happily celebrating turning 95. CCN's Mum achieved this fantastic milestone today and we had a lovely lunch at her new home at Palm Lake Care.

Donald the "Super Chef" at the Centre very kindly made Nettie a "Super Sized Birthday Cake" and very proudly presented it to her with all of her friends sharing in the fun.  It was quite a magical moment and we were just so happy to be there to celebrate with Nettie today.  

We were both really thrilled at the loving and caring way that the staff looked after Nettie on her big day and every day in fact.  It certainly is a very special place and CCN's Mum is much loved by everyone.  We know she's an absolute treasure and aren't they lucky to know her :-)
