Old Chopper....
In order to get some inspiration on my current work project I sent the morning at the Apache Cafe (free wifi!) at the Museum of Army Flying in Middle Wallop. It was good to sit up there and watch the aircraft comings and goings whilst thinking about matters aviation - don't ask as it really isn't very exciting!!
I thought it might offer a few more blip opportunities as I have been a bit slack recently - sorry!
This old girl is a Westland Scout AH-1 from the early 1960s. It has seen service in Aden, Oman, Northern Ireland, British Army of the Rhine (Germany for those who don't know what BAOR meant) and Hong Kong. It is in a bit of a sorry state I am afraid to report as is the case with most gate guardians these days.
Now back home and after a 13 miles bike ride am back to the grindstone!!
