Who's a clever boy?

We have had Cthulhu since the 15th July and I have been trying all this time to persuade him to eat his veggies. I tried many different things. Scattering seeds over different veggies, cutting them up really fine, leaving them whole, leaving them on the floor of the cage, typing them to the cage bars, adding them to his seed bowl. Then this morning I clipped a leaf of romaine lettuce on to the bars of his cage at beak height next to his favourite twig perch. And when I came home from work he had nibbled it all along the side. Very exciting! I am glad he is getting his vitamins now. I will start trying other veg soon as well.
