Leith Street

Leith Street has been closed for the next 10 months to allow for the construction work going on there. Supposedly pedestrian and cycle access has been maintained and it is of course down to the usual standard. Pedestrians and cyclists mixed into a narrow space separated only by paint. When I cycled the next day a man in a hi-viz tabard had to stop me from pushing my bike into the face of oncoming traffic as it looks like that is what you are supposed to do when you get through the chicanes northbound.
