Singing lesson with a new pupil today. I googled the location and saw that it was not far from Perry Barr Reservoir.

Perry Barr Reservoir I thought?!?! I never knew there was a Reservoir. After my lesson I went and found it and get this....remembered to take my camera.

Anyway in the middle of Kingstanding lies Perry Barr Reservoir. It is a covered reservoir but the water that fills it comes from the mountains in Wales.

This sign is outside the gate and slightly graffitied.

It says that the water has travelled 86 miles from Wales without any pumping. It's all done by gravity. How green is that!

Not entirely sure how the Welsh feel about us drinking their water.

Sadly I don't get the Welsh stuff. Our bit of Birmingham is covered by South Staffs and I get horrible hard water that discolours everything to orange.

Singing lessons was good and have been booked again.

Been on a bike ride and now I ache.
