Flying the red flag

Noticed something today I had not thought about before.We went to our local garden centre, and I looked in the field next to the car park for a Blip.

In the distance I saw the red flag flying. Kingsbury has a rifle range, and this flag indicates that there is shooting going on. I'd never looked at it from this angle. The range is not quite as close to the houses as the picture makes it look. There is a railway line, and a distribution centre inbetween. However it surprised me to see it from this side. Look at the map to see what I mean.
