Reg's Meadow

A day at the Hawk Conservancy, Weyhill. A beautiful day has been spent holding, experiencing and learning about birds of prey.
The displays were fabulous with vultures skimming the audiences heads followed with Harry bring able to hold one.
After dinner out it's back home to play with the Xbox he so very much wanted and for some home made trifle in celebration of his 11th birthday.
The picture I've chosen is from the meadow at the Hawk Conservancy, planted with wild flowers in memory of Reg, one of the original founders of the place. So relaxing to wonder through watching the different varieties of butterflies, bees and the brave birds to fly around.
Well worth a visit to even those who are not particularly into birds of prey.
