Happy birthday

Today is my son's 12th birthday. We had decided months ago we would go to Longleat Safari Park.

So after a terrible week which began with salt having our dog out to sleep, then my dad being taken to hospital and had been in ITU since Monday.
Today has been a day all about Harry. We've had a fabulous day with friends who have been true rocks over this last week.

We've feed seal lions, stroked sting rays and said hello to this fella. The last time we came he wouldn't go near the handling of small animals but today spider, snakes and cockroaches were all held with no fear.

And the best news for his birthday came from my dad, beyond all hope he is very slowly making progress to recovery. The best birthday present he could have !
