Visionaries and Voices

All artists should be viewed as an artist and nothing less than that no matter what may limit them both mentally, physically, or emotionally. Although it may be a day to day struggle to run and maintain operations at Visionaries and Voices, they never seemed to forget that all artists are artists in one way or another. Through generous volunteers, donations, and grants, Visionaries and Voices are able to support around 90 artists with their creative process by provided materials and a space to work. A couple of years ago, an educational program was created to teach artists so that they can teach other artists how to express themselves. What surprised me most on my visit to Visionaries and Voices was the quality and brilliance of the artwork, but also that artists work has been represented and sold in several galleries around the world. Visionaries and Voices truly offers a sense of community to artists of all backgrounds and was a place to gather and collaborate to produce true expressionism.
