Stepping Out

I travelled into Manchester City Centre for a lunchtime meeting. As I approached along the A6 the Centre was all in a deep haze. Strange atmospheric conditions.

Leaving the Town Hall, at 1.30 pm, lots of people sitting in all sorts of places enjoying the sunshine. The City Centre does not have lots of green-spaces or parks, so people wanting to enjoy the sunshine take advantage of what is available. In this case the steps around a little used green space, overlooked by a bar (38) which has been closed a long time. This whole area will see redevelopment at some stage, the original concept around the Great Northern has never really worked. Could do better !

I quite like the way that lady in the Peroni advert seems to be spying on everyone. Big sister is watching you !
