Alstroemeria

The south of England may still be sweltering, but in north Northumberland we've been under a shroud of thick fog all day. MrM dropped me off at work this morning before continuing up the A1 to meet Angus, his son, in Edinburgh - not a pleasant drive in that weather, but at least they enjoyed the day.

He met me in Berwick late in the afternoon, and we indulged in a coffee before heading for home. After a quick meal MrM drove back in to Berwick to play with the jazz band. 

An indoor blip today - the alstroemeria that's been brightening up the living room for the last 10 days. Past its best, but still rather lovely.
