Red Chequer.
On the 18th August I blipped a Mealy. A colour phase of domestic pigeons or in this case feral pigeons. I am assuming that the red factor is a recessive gene as Red Chequers and Mealies are definitely in the minority among feral pigeons.
I was again at my brothers giving him a hand with the garden, that's what little brothers are for isn't it. He has .a number of feral pigeons that hang around hoping for a hand out. Strangely they are virtually all red phase.
A busy day and lack of inspiration meant very few photos so I have settled on the Red Chequer.
