2016 Tuesday -- Beautiful Night in Laguna

I rarely post a night photo, and even though I think this a is beautiful scene, the photo is crummy, but it's mine and I like it.

We had a late afternoon appointment in Orange County and the main highway back to our city on the border of Orange Country and the Inland Empire is grid-locked with late afternoon/early evening commuters, so we headed the opposite direction toward the Pacific Ocean, to be precise, Laguna Beach.

Laguna is a favorite southern California coastal place of ours. Over the years we have spent hours and hours at Laguna. It is the place where we have always wanted to have a home. It is, however, priced extremely high.

This evening we were headed to a favorite Laguna Italian restaurant, Salneros, but learned it was being renovated by the new owners, so we did not get to eat there. Boo hoo!

We drove to Cliff Drive and ate our evening meal at Las Brisas, a Mexican Seafood restaurant, and enjoyed the live music.

This has been a very good day.
