Day Trip to Montenegro
*Backblip*
On the Tuesday we had planned a bit of a quiet day as I had a call I needed to be on in the morning and then we booked a nice massage so no pics for that day.
While I was on my call Steve went for a walk and booked us on a trip to Montenegro for our full last day.
We went to two places in Montenegro, Kotor and Budva. Both had such a different feel to them and both were stunningly beautiful. It was also much cheaper here than in Croatia and they used the Euro even though they are technically not in the EU.
In Kotor there were shops selling cat souveneirs everywhere. The story goes that when they had their last major earthquakes all the cats were behaving strangely and going outdoors into the main squares. As the humans were wondering what was going on they all also went outside which meant when the buildings fell no lives were lost so the town loves and adores their cats.
The tour guide was hilarious and so the parts on the bus were still quite amusing.
It was a really long day so in the evening we went out for a quick last drink but we just ordered room service for food.
A couple of other pics from the day in the extras including the view of sunset from our balcony.
