Fish Pie in Progress
I'm making a fish pie for tonight's dinner.
The recipe says to mix the fish and prawns up in the sauce that I've made (with white wine, tomatoes, tomato purée, crème fraîche, tarragon, dill and parsley). However, I find that if I do that, one person gets all the prawns - and it's not usually me!
I've also put some hard boiled eggs in there, and the top will be filo pastry, instead of potato.
Here in the depths of Warwickshire, we know how to live life on the edge.............
