What a glorious day
Today started off really well and continued on the same track.
I pulled the curtains back a little way, and there was a beautiful roe deer standing only yards from our bedroom window. She obligingly waited while I took some photos, and then decided to make a dash for it when I went to open the window. She got down and wriggled her way through a fairly small gap that we knew was in the corner of the garden. C has since fixed the gap as a bit later on, Hector found it as he could obviously smell the deer's tracks. Hector came back after a few minutes thankfully. I've put Ms Roe Deer as an extra.
We then went down to the beach at Beer where it was so sunny I had to shed several layers. We enjoyed a coffee and a crab sandwich there, and then returned home to do some more work and cleaning of the house.
It was so nice to have a few hours break and remind ourselves of several of the reasons why we moved here.
