Beachcombing
Day off so headed out to Westport Beach for a walk :-)
Marvellous waves the colours in the water were beautiful.
We saw a couple of surfers, one seemed to be struggling to get out by the breaking waves although the chap out further seemed to be able to get up on his surf board.
Lunch stop at Glenbarr, and although service was a bit slow a much better experience from our last visit.
The weather was improving as the day went on so we took the opportunity to visit the little beach at A'Chlèit.
A lovely beach with pale sand and excellent views over to Cara with Islay beyond.
Lovely way to spend my day off , the Danish pastries for afternoon tea
rounded the day off nicely :-)
Couldn't resist the extra shot of the footprints in the sand :-)
The other extra was taken from the beach at A'Chlèit.
I hope to visit here again and perhaps paint :-)
